Talia Shea Levin drove from her hometown of Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles, CA after studying directing and screenwriting at Carnegie Mellon University. As a director she focuses on speculative storytelling using non-naturalistic narrative techniques, from dance to science-fiction. Her work has been featured in the Broke LA Music & Arts Festival, NoFilmSchool, the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and the Steeltown Film Factory.

In addition to her own projects, she has worked as an assistant to independent film directors Katharine O'Brien and Justin Lerner, a development consultant for Paula Wagner's Chestnut Ridge Productions, and as a producer and coordinator for companies including The Famous GroupSpecial Order Co. and Midroll Media.

She aspires to become a giraffe but is prepared to settle for making movies forever if that does not work out.
