Talia Shea Levin drove from her hometown of Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles, CA after studying directing and screenwriting at Carnegie Mellon University. As a director she focuses on speculative storytelling using non-naturalistic narrative techniques, from dance to science-fiction. Her work has been featured in the Broke LA Music & Arts Festival, NoFilmSchool, the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and the Steeltown Film Factory.
In addition to her own projects, she has worked as a development consultant for Paula Wagner's Chestnut Ridge Productions, an assistant to independent film director Justin Lerner, and as a production coordinator for Special Order Co., among other companies.
She aspires to become a giraffe but is prepared to settle for making movies forever if that does not work out.
